HeliOps is delighted to announce the completion of its new engineering and logistics facility in the Somerset former county-town of Somerton. Situated approximately 5 miles north-west of RNAS Yeovilton and 35 miles from HeliOps own Heliport at Portland, the brand-new facility includes in excess of 3000 square metres of maintenance, logistics and office space.
HeliOps is now awaiting UK Military Aviation Authority Part 145 approval for the facility; this means HeliOps Somerton will satisfy the regulatory requirements for on-site maintenance of military registered air systems and components. HeliOps CEO Steve Gladston said: “the acquisition and completion of this engineering and logistics facility represents a step-change in HeliOps’ ability to deliver world-class aviation engineering support”.
