U18s Visit HeliOperations Ahead of FA Youth Cup Clash

Posted: 16th September, 2025

This week, HeliOperations was delighted to welcome players and staff from the Portland United FC U18s squad to our Portland site ahead of their upcoming FA Youth Cup match against Hamworthy Recreation FC.

As proud sponsors of Portland United FC, it was a pleasure to host the team for an informal visit, offering a behind-the-scenes look at our hangar and facilities. The players had the chance to explore our site, meet members of the HeliOps team, and capture a few photos during their tour.

We hope the visit offered a little inspiration ahead of their big match, and we’re proud to be supporting local sport and youth development here on the Isle of Portland.

At HeliOperations, we recognise the importance of teamwork, discipline, and resilience – values that run through both search and rescue operations and competitive sport. Supporting the next generation, whether in aviation or football, is something we’re proud to play a role in.

We wish the U18s all the best in the FA Youth Cup – and will be keeping an eye on the results.
